well, i finally got to see the new guys in action on saturday, and i think they looked pretty good. i like higgins work ethic, and hagman and stajan look good together. even mayers was actually playing well. white looked okay on the blueline. all in all though, i think the flames outplayed the ducks. and though the ducks aren't currently a playoff team, they are still a decent hockey club. maybe a little hope that we can get this team back on track. have to see if sutter makes any more moves before the deadline, but i think we can at least make the post season with what we got now. whether we could beat the top teams or not once we get there is another question. :>
