After that cash I seem to have my mtt game back. Nothing spectacular but getting much deeper where its taking get unlucky to get me out. Made up almost everything I was down. With one last Tournament to go up big.

Good but dissapointing Sunday.

So played three tournaments yesterday.

1) 20k guarantee 319 entrants - Had the chip lead from about 60 to go all the way down to final 10. Had Set of 7s run into set of Ks then had AK cracked by AQ to the same person. Finished 10th.

2) 12:00pm 26 buy in 1300 entrants - Finished 80 for double buy in cash. Had 26k in chips raised with 1010 got it all in after big blind shoved. He had AK rivered the K and that was it.

3) Sunday Brawl - Got into the money Called someones all in with AK he was holding Q10. I had 48k before the hand. He hit a full house down to 37k. Next hand Pick up AJ diamonds. Open raise. Get reraised by some Russian guy who kept reraising me before the money bubble. I shove (I know stupid mistake and still kicking myself). He has AQ board bricks out. Finish 277th which was just ITM. Very disappointed.

Decide to jump limits in the ring game and play some 4/8. Bought in for $200.00. Me and another dude are both sitting around $400.00 when we get into this PLO hand Im holding A(S)A(S)8(C)7(S). I raise and find 2 callers. Preflop pot is $22.00. Flop comes 7 9 A rainbow (1 heart). I bet $24.00 one guy folds guy who has me covered calls. Turn is a 10 of hearts. I check he bets $74.00 and I call. Pot is now $218.00. River is 2 of hearts. I check again. He thinks and thinks and thinks. Then bets $104.00. At this point I was pretty sure I had him unless he hit the backdoor flush. Because up til now he always bet pot when he has the goods. With an uneasy feeling I called and he shows a set of 9s shipping me the pot. I the table after this hand with a nice little profit.

Point of that hand is, its funny how you play hands differently when playing outside your normal limits (I typically play 1/2 and sometimes 2/4). Had so much money not been at stake I'm playing this completely different, and probably all in after the turn. (Meaning I lead out again and he would most like pop me there, there wouldnt be the check calling that went on). Anyhow found it interesting and thought I'd share.

Im going to start posting my stats and stuff also. Have a spreadsheet that I think will do wonders.

Not going to count November. Though since I started tracking on the 15th I am up about $4 bucks in FTP and $100 on UB.

The stats on FTP are staggering for 6.50 SnG. Though its a small sample of 25 and I ran hot I returned 60% during that time. Lost almost all of that at cash tables (mostly the .25 table the .10 table I did a little better and Ill play there for a while). MTT thanks to this weekend was almost a break even point. I finish a little higher and I have a huge return. Thats what playing within my bankroll will do. I wont go broke while trying to get that big score.

Overall Im proud of how I started towards my goals in November.

I have not played in almost a week. Time to get back on the horse.

Yeah, the in-laws this morning which will make it easier for me to start getting better volume in. Going to keep tracking everything in my thread, because I do think that helps me stay in line.

Definitely starting to find myself playing cash. I just wish .05/.10 did a better job of clearing bonus. Want to try to get my total bankroll to $150 by the time I leave on the 23rd for Christmas in Ohio. Seems like a reasonable goal, and would let me play 6.50 sngs comfortably upon my return, and would get me into a realm where the $3.30 mtts aren't the unwise bankroll risks they are for me now.

The plan for this week is to steadily 4-table $2.20 and under mtts that fit my schedule, mixing in cash and $2.25 sngs as the night progresses and I bust out of the mtts.

I should clear the first $10 of my holiday bonus on ftp, which is nice.

I've cleared 20 so far. Considering the stakes I'm playing I'm getting a ton of play in.

Because I have more on UB, I haven't gotten much in on FTP. It will probably be hard for me to clear more than 10 of the bonus.

Ok need advice on how specific I should track. I know I want roi for each seperate buy in for sng. I want bb/hr for each limit cash game. And going to keep 1 roi for all mtt 3.30 and under or I'll never get the volume for an accurate number.

Realizing the flaw of not seperating short handed/ko/turbo ect in mtt.

Should I track seperately from above mtt sit n gos? Or do the 45/90/180 man just count as mtt? Allso should I seperate non nlhe sng at the lower level? I dont think I'll put in the volume to find out if any of those games are profitable but don't want there stats to go against nlhe either.

Thoughts?

The $6.50 90-seat deep stack turbo is my go-to game on FTP, although I've been running cold in them recently.

I have been 4 tableing 3.80 super turbos. Killing them then the last 5 I finish 2nd twice and 3 bubbles where every time I got it in with a big ace vs a baby ace and they hit the 3 outer EACH time. Thats frustrating. So close, dont think im done yet. Played 16 so far with just undet $1 profit per.

Ran 4 more. Bubbled the first. Then got 2 2nd and 1 3rd. Very good night. Up almost $30.

Those are fun when you're rolled for them and in the right mindset. It is pretty good push-fold training, I think.

I had a very uneventful night last night, but I got a ton of hands in and didn't lose money, so I'll take it.
