I almost took '13 Cravath with my recent pick (instead of Falkenburg). But I determined he was more of a luxury (platoon DH vs LHP) than a need. Although I have enough innings, I wanted more bodies out of the bullpen

I didn't really need Cravath, I just didn't want others to have him as a RH. Plus, there weren't any pitchers in that span that I had a hankering for.

At first I was going to take Dizzy Dean and Mike Donlin. But when Dean disappeared I was going to take Falkenberg and Paul Waner. But then when Falkenberg went I needed an eighth body in the bullpen I took Russo and back to Donlin as a 4th outfielder. This league is full of big bats so a lot of innings will be needed.

I just tacked on 300+ innings from Drysdale as insurance so I have him to eat innings whenever needed. He might draw a spot start or two, I suppose. Surprised someone as good as him was still on the board, but then again we had all the pitchers in history available.
