First time this has ever happened: both of my boys have baseball games scheduled at the same time.  I'm an assistant coach for both teams.  The games are on nearby fields (12 year old on the Babe Ruth (90 foot diamond) field, 9 year old on the Little League (60 foot diamond) field).

Should I plan to be exclusively at one game (if so, which one?), or try to bounce back and forth between the two?

I've answered this before so I don't think it's the first time.   Go to the younger kid's game.   The older kid should understand better than 9 year old.

MAYBE THEY BOTH WANT YE TO STAY AWAY?

Gonna miss me? ;-)

I assume the 9 year old still thinks his dad is swell.   The 12 year old probably thinks he's a dumbass.  Sort of how the rest of us feel about tec.

Will you be picking up a quart of Schweddy Balls to share with the missus?

My amoral NFL fantasy team with Vick and Benson is going to win week one. What penance should I do?
9/11/2011 10:55 PM
No.

No moose-humping for a week.   Not a big deal here in America but, in Canuckada, that's some major punishment.

Too harsh.

Will Darren McFadden run wild tonight, score four TDs, and lead my fantasy team to a glorious comeback victory?
9/12/2011 12:02 PM
Of course he will.  It's Denver.

Are you ready for some football? A Monday night party?
9/12/2011 12:25 PM
No.  I work, sort of, for a living.   I'll watch as much of the Raiders game as I can stand.
