LOL - I guess you're at odds with yourself eh?

That was in 1966, copied out of the article. The article is saying to relate to Jews. Mennonites are actually known as an extremely pacifist and peaceful sect of Christianity. If you had done any research you would have known that. This guy is only .000001% of Mennonites in a time with a lot of anti Jew sentiment. We don’t, because “some people” being uncomfortable by someone else isn’t a valid reason to discriminate against that someone else.
What's discriminatory about men's rooms and women's rooms?

Do you know what penises and vaginas are?
Did you know that sex and gender are different things?
Not in every country and not in everyone's minds. SC needs to opine on this. IMO.

I logically cannot accept that a person who was born a male and has male parts can one day identify as a woman and on that day start using the W locker room. (NOT BATHROOM). If I have to live with it I will obviously but to me this is insanity.
It’s been happening for decades and you didn’t know. Chill out.
men with penises have been using women's locker rooms for decades??? where is your proof of this statement? I kind of doubt it.
Women have been using women’s facilities for as long as transgender people have been walking around in public.

Most people in the US feel safe and more so than in Europe. We have more crime because we have more people than individual European countries. If you like Scandinavia so much you should move there. Seems simple.
you don't know what most people feel. You know what you, your family and your friends feel. That is not most people.

I would love for you to define 'anti Jew' and 'anti Israel' for me. It seems that you think that it means opposing just one thing that Israel does.

If I have a kid, and I set rules, and the kid breaks those rules, and I punish the kid, am I anti-children?

Leftists strike again

On Wednesday, at a joint event with New York gubernatorial candidate Cynthia Nixon, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez showed once again her paltry knowledge of political issues, stating that after she made inflammatory remarks about the state of Israel that the people who were outraged at her were members of the “alt-right.”

Of course, the idea of the alt-right, some of whose members are famously anti-Semitic, being outraged that Ocasio-Cortez attacked Israel is ludicrous, to say the least. Tell former Democratic vice-presidential candidate Joe Lieberman, an Orthodox Jew, that he's "alt-right."

And Ocasio-Cortez made clear that the voices she takes her advice from regarding Israel come from some of the most vehemently anti-Israel groups on the planet.

As the Anti-Defamation League notes, “Jewish Voice for Peace is a radical anti-Israel activist group that advocates for a complete economic, cultural and academic boycott of the state of Israel …JVP considers supporters of Israel, or even critics of Israel who do not hew to JVP’s own extreme views, to be complicit in Israel’s purported acts of racist oppression of Palestinians. JVP leaders believe that expressing support for Israel, or not challenging mainstream Jewish organizations that support Israel, must also be viewed as an implicit attack on people of color and all marginalized groups in the United States.”

J Street has long been seen as anti-Israel; as far back as 2010 attorney Alan Dershowitz wrote, ”It claims to be “a pro-Israel, pro peace lobby.” It has now become neither.” Paul Miller noted in The Hill in 2014, “J Street partners with the rabidly anti-Semitic Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), a group in the forefront of the anti-Israel boycott, divestment, and sanctions movement. An SJP documentrecently uncovered by the education watchdog group AMCHA Initiative reveals SJP plans to target, ostracize, harass and silence pro-Israel students. These are the bigots J Street deems ‘pro-Israel, pro-peace.’” In 2017, the university arm of J Street called for the Jewish community to take “a new approach” and stop “demonizing” the BDS movement, which stands for boycotting, divesting from and sanctioning Israel.

Ocasio-Cortez is not only ignorant of what the alt-right stands for, she doesn’t even have any idea that many of them would gladly endorse her anti-Israel perspective.

What did Cortez say?
Is this all from a twitter account?
Why should we expect Cortez to be an expert on foreign policy?
Why should I care about your opinion if you think I am anti Israel and I am a Jew?
A Jewish Mennonite eh? Because she is opining on something she knows nothing about. It was from an interview. Listen to the Monday Ben Shapiro podcast and hear it for yourself as he laughs at her ignorance. There are Jews who anti Israel. About 1%...you're one of them. Which is fine.
Yes. I am Jewish by heritage and Mennonite in religion.

I am not going to listen to the podcast. Just tell me what specifically she said about Israel that was so heinous.

I am not anti Israel. I support an Israeli state. I don't want Israelis to die. That makes me pro-Israel.
She basically said they are invaders who oppress Palestinian settlers. When pressed on the issue she admitted she didn't know very much about it and was basically repeating what she heard from public groups, who as I listed are all anti Israel groups. It was quite comical. Had she just said, I am not an expert of foreign affairs, it is a tough subject she would have been fine.
OK, so that's a mistake. I think what she was trying to say was that some Israelis are settling on Palestinian land illegally? Which is true? Otherwise it was a simple mistake, she clearly doesn't know much about it and she isn't anti semitic so it's fine.
OK...she is a member of the House of Representatives from NY, which has the largest Jewish pop in the US. I think she probably should know something about it before opining but that is just me. I am sure you would have voted for her as she is a self identified socialist.
I support her big time.

Also she is a Soc Dem not a Dem Soc. She is a capitalist. Learn the difference please.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the 28-year-old socialist who secured a stunning Democratic primary win over New York Rep. Joseph Crowley last month, is getting slammed by some Democrats who say her fringe views are damaging the party.

Former Sen. Joe Lieberman, now a Democrat turned independent, wrote an op-ed for The Wall Street Journal on Tuesday calling on Democrats to vote for Mr. Crowley, who will appear on the ballot of the Working Families Party in November.

“On Election Day, his name will be on the ballot as the endorsed candidate of the Working Families Party,” he wrote. “But for Mr. Crowley to have a chance at getting re-elected, he will have to decide if he wants to remain an active candidate. I hope he does.”

Mr. Lieberman argued that Ms. Ocasio-Cortez’s policies “are so far from the mainstream, her election in November would make it harder for Congress to stop fighting and start fixing problems.

Ms. Ocasio-Cortez is a proud member of the Democratic Socialists of America, whose platform, like hers, is more Socialist than Democratic,” he wrote.

“Her dreams of new federal spending would bankrupt the country or require very large tax increases, including on the working class,” he continued. “Her approach foresees government ownership of many private companies, which would decimate the economy and put millions out of work.”

In an interview published Tuesday by The Hill, Democratic Rep. Alcee Hastings warned Ms. Ocasio-Cortez that alienating moderates in the party would hurt her chances of getting anything done if she’s elected.

“Meteors fizz out,” he said. “What she will learn in this institution is that it’s glacial to begin with, and therefore no matter how far you rise, that’s just how far you will ultimately get your comeuppance.”

Without mentioning Ms. Ocasio-Cortez directly, Democratic Sen. Chris Coons last week slammed the party’s “relentless race to the left” and called on fellow Democrats to abandon radical ideas like “Abolish ICE” — a policy Ms. Ocasio-Cortez has endorsed.

“If we as a Democratic Party are going to move from a minority at every level that is dedicated to resistance, to a majority that is capable of governing, we have got to move from grievance to optimism,” Mr. Coons said. “And we’ve got to abandon a politics of anxiety that is characterized by wild-eyed proposals and instead deliver ideas and practical solutions.”

Last week, Ms. Ocasio-Cortez accused Mr. Crowley of still running against her in the general election.

.@repjoecrowley stated on live TV that he would absolutely support my candidacy.

Instead, he’s stood me up for all 3 scheduled concession calls.

Now, he’s mounting a 3rd party challenge against me and the Democratic Party- and against the will of @NYWFP.https://t.co/Xvb6Jk8N8q

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@Ocasio2018) July 12, 2018

Mr. Crowley responded saying he’s not actively running in the general election.

Lots questions about WFP line. Was honored to have their support. I’m not running. For record you can only be removed from the ballot if 1) you move out of NY; 2) die; 3) be convicted of a crime; 4) accept a nomination for another office (in a place I don’t live).

— Joe Crowley (@JoeCrowleyNY) July 12, 2018

Democratic Rep. Lacy Clay called Ms. Ocasio-Cortez “petty” for attacking Mr. Crowley publicly.

“Once an election is over and you win, why are you still angry?” he told The Hill. “I think it’s a lack of maturity on her part, and a lack of political acumen, for her to be that petty.

“We as Democrats better figure out who the real enemy is. And it’s not each other,” he added.

Democratic Rep. Bill Pascrell said Ms. Ocasio-Cortez is “no doubt” making enemies in the party.

“She’s carrying on and she ain’t gonna make friends that way,” he told The Hill. “Joe conceded, wished her well, said he would support her … so she doesn’t know what the hell she’s talking about.”

Some vague “uncomfortableness” isn’t a valid reason to discriminate.
but you are discriminating against any woman in that locker room who feels uncomfortable with a man who identifies as a woman in the same locker room, by basically telling them that their discomfort is not as valid as his discomfort and that they need to deal with it.
No, you aren't. She's free to come and go as she pleases.
so, its okay to say to the women if they are uncomfortable with a man identifying as a woman in the locker room, they are free to go somewhere else, but its not okay to say to the man who identifies as a women, if he is uncomfortable in a men's locker room, he can go somewhere else? Again, I haven't seen any valid reason why one person's comfort level is more important than several people's comfort level.

By the way, I asked my wife and daughter and they said they would be very uncomfortable with a man in the women's locker room, no matter how he identifies.
It doesn’t make any sense to force women into the men’s locker room. Transgender women are women.
well, you are forcing those women made uncomfortable by a "transgender woman" in the woman's locker room, to either deal with their discomfort or go elsewhere. Why is it okay to ask them to deal with their discomfort or go elsewhere, but is not okay to ask the "transgender" woman to deal with her discomfort by using the men's locker room or to go elsewhere? I still have yet to see a decent answer to that question.

Hell yeah. Get the mainstream like Schumer and Pelosi outta there.

Drain the swamp amiright?

The LAMEstream media is freaking out about a candidate who wants to shake things up - sound familiar?
Apples and Oranges. Trump was a businessman and wanted to run the country like a business. She is 28, aka a kid. She has no idea how to support a family let alone run a big budget of a country. Socialism doesn't work. Capitalism does. In my view anyway. You have an opposite view. I am just glad the Dems are all turning on each other.

I would love for you to define 'anti Jew' and 'anti Israel' for me. It seems that you think that it means opposing just one thing that Israel does.

If I have a kid, and I set rules, and the kid breaks those rules, and I punish the kid, am I anti-children?
So Israel is our child? We should set rules for them?
The UN should? Countries don't get to do whatever the hell they want.
The UN is anti semitic. Iran and just about every other ME country is way way way way worse yet Israel always bears the brunt. The only Jewish nation in the world. Sorry. The UN is not their daddy either.

He is not going to answer you.

I'd probably answer more if I didn't have to scroll through page-long, idiotic quote-post after page-long, idiotic quote-post between you and tang in order to see posts like wylie's.
