I'm always curious what is said in situations like that. When NBC mics players, it's that kind of stuff that I want to hear, not the obligatory celebration after a goal.

Apparently actions DON'T speak louder than words

OK, for you Sparky, I will transcribe the conversation

WARD: Alrite, Cullen, stop trying to take Timmy out by crashing my crease.

CULLEN: MMMMWWWFFFF, WFFFFF (Ward's hand is in Cullen's mouth giving him a face wash)

WALKER: (Skating onto scene) Hey, Aaron, let Matt go. He was just stopping by to congratulae Timmy on his stellar play today.

WARD: You are who again? Matt's enjoying this massage to his sinuses.

CULLEN: MFFFFF, WFFFMMFFFFF

WALKER: It really doesn't appear he is enjoying it as much as you think, Mr. Ward, sir. I must now forcefully ask you to rstrain yourself.

WARD: While I understand your position young man, I am somewhat occupied at the moment, so I cannot dance with you.

CULLEN: MWWFF. WFFFFFMMMMMMMM

WALKER: Dance? So you think I can dance? Whoa, whoa (loses balance and throws gloves into air to regain balance, falls into Ward's eye)

CULLEN: WFFMMMMMM....Ahhhhhhhh

"While it is unclear whether Lucic's glove or stick makes contact with Lapierre, what is clear is that he delivered a reckless and forceful blow to the head of his opponent," -NHL Senior Executive VP of Hockey Operations Colin Campbell

That was how Colin Campbell justified Lucic's 1 game suspension against Montreal. Couldn't you use the exact same line (just change the player names) to explain what happened last night? Where's the difference?

I don't recall the Lucic play, so I can't really comment on it. Last night though, Walker clearly though he was in an altercation. Ward did what he did to Cullen and then things were said between him and Walker which Walker clearly took to mean they were dropping the gloves. We don't know what was said, but it evidently was enough for the league to make the decision it did.

Bruins looked great with their backs up aginst the walls.. They'll have to play Carolina just like they did...Shoot the PUCK and create lots of traffic..And Pound Carolina into submission!!! The only way they can get it done..the reason they lost those other games is they weren't shooting ..Carolina outshot the B's the whole series..Finally game 5 the B's Outshot the Canes and what happens?? they WON!!!!Simple as that. Cam Ward is human like everyone else..and the Bruins figured that out when they stuck to their plan in Game 5. Expect the Bruins to come out Hitting and Firing the puck on net and Creating traffic in front of Ward with Lucic getting in his head. If the B's do this along with keeping up their great team defense they will win this game and eventually the series.

The Canes out played the Bruins in 5 of the 7 in the series. (I didn't see game 5 so it could have been 6) Montador was a disaster on skates last night. Kobasew skated hard at the 6 minute mark in the 3rd period and that was it. Except for Lucic, the forechecking was non existant. They just let Carolina take it out of their end.

Montador absolutely killed the Bruins by pinching in all game. Kessel was his typical puck hog, non checking self. I thought he was a player who could pass to someone besides the point player? How many times did he take the puck away from a teammate in game 7? I counted 3 times.

The worst line on the team last night was Recchi, Kobasew, and Bergeron. Patrice was the only one even trying. And heading into OT, I was telling my son that under no circumstances should that offense be matched up with Wideman and Montador on defense. Check who the 5 guys were on the ice for the series winner. Of course Carolina will score when it is 5 on 2.

Recchi was a major disaster for the Bruins. As soon as he came to the team, they stopped skating. On top of that they gave up 2 prospects that Boston could be using next season.

Did I mention that Steve Montador sucks? He made mistake after mistake after mistake all playoffs and is too much of a retard to learn. He costed the Bruins at least 4 goals that I can think of on top of my head.

you spelled 'bruins suck' wrong

That goal was probably the biggest garbage goal of the playoffs. Carolina definitely deserved it since they outplayed the B's for 3 out of the 4 periods including OT. The Bruins looked like **** on the power play the whole series.
