You guys shoulda used that Stajan money on White ... letting Stajan walk would have been the best thing - WAY overrated.

I think he gets overlooked constantly because he's only 4'11" ... but he's a solid #3 or #4 d-man.

hate giving up boyd for nothing. a fourth round pick is just a throw away. he was an RFA. and will be a decent player in the future. we could have at least kept him and let him go for an offer sheet. would have rather dished nystrom than boyd. the other two trades were decent. upgrade a d-man and upgrade the backup. both could prove huge down the stretch, and it's gonna be a tough ride. a few team battling for the last couple spots have made some moves to improve. :>

love the bourque signing. he could have probably gotten a little more on the open market. not sure about the stajan signing. i don't think he's worth more than hagman. i think i would have rather re-signed higgins for a lot less. i like his effort. he give a hundred percent every shift. at least of what i've seen of him, which of course is limited. though i do think stajan has been playing decent. he could turn out to be a good deal. :>

as for white, we already have six d-men signed for next year, and i really like pardy as a third pair d-man, especially at only $700K. we'll probably end up dealing white before the draft. maybe to move up? have to see. :>

Probably the most boring game I have seen in a long time... I shut it off and paid attention to the score through my pool after 2-0... cant use the excuse of chemistry anymore... had the olympics to gel.. did this team do anything?

The thing is, they don't have a 1st or 2nd round pick in the upcoming June draft (they may not even have a 3rd rnd either); so losing doesn't gain them anything...
