Last night was one of my better nights and had me thinking that my goals are possible. For 2 weeks I thought I would never get the ball rolling. Staying at the .10 NL tables instead of the quarter and SnGs more then MTT though not afraid to jump in one if I know I have time.

Also set up a pretty good spread sheet that will track. ROI, BB/HR, %cash, %FT and ofcourse profit/loss/

I forget, what's considered a good BB/HR?

Im going to need to look it up but after 15 minutes I'm around 209 bb/hr I think that's ok.

looking at downloading pokertracker. It has a free 60 day trial and think my activity will be high for the next 2 months so sounds good. Ill give a review when the trial is over.

80 bucks for full version seems high.

Wow just a couple minutes of messing with pokertracker and im extremely impressed. Everything I wanted to track and way way more.

Would love if another user got the free trial to compare stuff and determine whats useful and what isnt.

Up for it TM? Our games and level of games seem closest.

I determined after brief research that I'm too computarded for tracking software.

yeah. That **** isn't for gentiles.

Heh, now my keyboard is soda flavored.

Its really not super complicated to use...its just figuring out which stats are junk and which are good and at what point a good sample size is reached.

I do like it though. I found that I make money a higher percentage of the time with 88 then AA and that I have gotten 88 twice as much.

The one time I downloaded it I couldn't even get it working.
12/1/2009 7:56 PM
Perhaps I'll try again, since you just did it.
12/1/2009 7:57 PM
I got it working and im not far from computardom. Of course im mathatardid so thats the real issue.

Downloaded it, started to install and it started giving me all kinds of firewall mumbo-jumbo. Uninstalled and gave up again.

Hmm I didn't get any of that. Just mounds of stats about how loose aggressive passive I am.

Pretty brutal night last night. None of my micro mtt's panned out, I was slightly down in $2.25 sngs, and my streak of small gains in cash games crashed to a halt, largely because in an escalating pot, a villain's KK turned into a set on the river to knock off my flopped set of 10's.

Oh well, in the past a night like that would have had me making new deposits on both sites, so at least my bankroll adjustments and tracking seem to be helping. Although I will likely have to re-deposit on FTP before long, unless I start running better in the sngs.
