I think the Reds made a calculated gamble. I doubt he's MLB-ready but, with any luck, he'll work for them after a season or two. I think baseball is better when the Reds are contending.

There is no pressure to stay. I join worlds with fairly specifice goals and make it clear that I'm leaving after I achieve them as long as the team is in good shape for a few years after my departure. Plus, I think some members are glad to see me go. And that is not a question.

No, he posted when I was responding and the page rolled. To answer tec's question, I don't follow much NCAA hoops until March. I don't even know who's in the top 10 these days. UNC got beat by a small college a couple of weeks ago. And I think Kansas took a beating not too long ago.
