Perhaps. I definitely knew who Racener and Cheong were before the world series started. They are young, but both considered top players. John Dolan is a top online player with more than a million in earnings from what I understand. Then there's Mizrachi who everyone knows. Its not like last year when Darvin Moon came from nowhere to the Final Table. It is likely with how often you can play online now that John Dolan has already seen more hands in his life than some of the top players that mostly play live. Experience is not all about age, its about hands.

People always comes from nowhere to make the final table.  You know how much luck is involved in one tournament.  Even if you're the best player in the room it's like winning a small lottery to make it.  I could pretty much take random groups of 9 people from the day2 field and it wouldn't be measurably worse than this final group.

You would think that ESPN would not advertise results like that since they are the ones that promote and air the coverage.

I agree.  If the cowboys lose tonight, U2 Votes.

If the cowboys win, and Austin has two TD's (or more),  U2 Votes.

If the cowboys win, and Austin has less than two TD's, Milli Vanilli votes.
