I'm guessing that tjefferson doesn't like Garr's (D+/D+) defense and wants to use Sanders (B/B) as a defensive replacement frequently (and perhaps as a PR as well).  Would also explain the B. Lawrie selection as well to cover for 3B Russ Davis (D/D) that he has to take.

What are people's thoughts on how much PA you think you might need?  I'm looking at all these pitching staffs and am thinking its not quite the quality I'd expect from a typical $100M theme and am wondering if we might need quite a bit more than 5000+ PA otherwise we're going to be suffering fatigue issues bigtime.  Everyone was so focused on getting big IP, nobody thought about needing more PA as well to balance it out.

Well, your starting 8 players have the most PA of any team, with 5399; mildnhazy has 5213; mensu1954 has 5164; ballantine has 5153; batandball has 5132;  ejstockman has 5106.  discodemo will have over 5260.  I think most teams will finish over 5200 after drafting their subs.

The pitching isn't as bad as you'd think.  The overall team average pitching at this moment...
