At this point in the draft it is clear that I made a few bad choices, but the only one I would really want to change at this point would be 1965 Aaron.
My only real regret was a Robin Yount early round draft.  He is a great fielder but I probably will only play him vs lhp. Low offensive production for this kind of league.  Not worth a high pick.

I think that I put myself in a position when I drafted OF guys early on. Then I didn't need outfielders and settled. My SP isn't strong at all, but who knows how it'll pan out. What are you guys even at salary wise?

I am at 123

I have the average team salary at $127.4 million, but that number is a shade high.  For players on multiple teams, my formula reads the higher salaried season.  Obviously, some players' partials will be used which will lower the salary.

The highest salaried currently belong to rjk2781 ($149M) and sambus ($143M).  Nobody else is over $137M.  The lowest salaries belongs to bargearse ($113M) and mpitt76 ($115M), but they have one fewer player since they haven't selected in 1989 yet.  The lowest salary of teams with 22 players is dcmatcheck ($118M).

Wow, I'm kind of surprised...I figured my salary would be somewhere middle of the pack.

I'm relieved to know I have a shot at ending up in the AL mild mild west. The NL East is going to be tough.

I don't think the salary difference is that significant.  It's often the difference of somebody simply drafting 3 or 4 full-time "extra" bats (for platooning, pinch-hitting and/or defensive replacement).  For example, I have $15.5M worth of third basemen (Boggs $7.9M and Santo $7.6M).  I am only going to play one at a time.  That doesn't mean my team is $7.6M better than the team that doesn't draft two 3B.  Some other team could be just as good with a 150-PA platoon/pinch-hitter/defensive replacement at 3B that cost only $1.5M.

Plus, how many people are drafting "extra" innings?  In the first version of this theme, I drafted only about 1475 IPs.  This time, I am projecting to have around 1750 IPs.  Those extra 300 IPs cost about $10M.

My $/pa = $10,500
My $/ip = $34,500

I've got 3 switch hitters, but no platoons, and few defensive replacements. I had to go after a lot of low ip relievers to get the quality I wanted so I have a shortage of position players. That's why my payroll is so low.
