kelly1 was probably like "Wha...huh???" when I posted that lol. There is no longtime tradition of what to do when a player DIES during a draft. But I feel like there SHOULD BE somehow lol.

Even though this league is based on stats that happened years or decades ago, I would totally be up for a rule like what I propsed....if a player in the DEAL draft actually dies DURING one of our drafts like this, that player cannot be used in that particular season. Can I get a second???!!

I understand your thoughts but I say if you asked Tom he’d say give me the ball,I want to pitch. It’s a tribute to him to let him pitch.

Yeah I know gundam....I just feel like we need to do SOMETHING if a drafted player DIES during a draft. I don't know WHAT...but we oughta do SOMETHIN!!! What about this...Each team MUST have EITHER a reference to 20 or XX OR a reference to Tom or Seaver? Or any variation of Tom "Terrific" Seaver? Not a mandate, but it would be cool if every team came up with a name that refererenced the word DEAL, Tom/"terrific"/Seaver AND "20/XX"

Hey guys, it's ok if you can't or aren't a "creative type" and you just wanna stick with your usual DEAL team name. Since this is a 20th season and a great of the game died while the draft was on, I just encourage everyone to try to get your creatice juices flowing and incorporate all of those facets into your team name.
