Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Arizona Outlaws Franchise Profile   To my untrained eye, vs R and vs L is good, fielding is good, pitching staff looks good enough... yet we're 10 games under .500.  Not sure what else could be the deal.  Is the team really that bad and Im too biased to understand?  Or is it extreme underachieving?

They're probably underperforming but I don't think the team is as good as you seem to think they are.    I don't see a single outstanding hitter.   Starting pitching looks mediocre at best.   At a glance, that looks like a 75-80 win team in a "normal" world.

I'd be curious to know which three, or so, you think are outstanding.    You have 3 good contact hitters but they lack power.  One has above average splits and one has an above average eye.  I think don't see "outstanding" anywhere on your BL team.

as far as post trade deadline trades, all players involved in a trade have to clear waivers first (or be claimed by the receiving team) in order for them to go thru, correct?

Only if they're on the 40.    Non-40 roster players can be traded without waivers.

So I have this RF below.  He is nothing special, but I did not expect him to suck quite like this.  I was expecting something along the lines of .240 / .310 / .450.  especially since I have him in a platoon where he faces lefties most.  I realize playing in San Diego makes him a bit more crappy.  Am I heavily misjudging the rating or should I give him the next half of the season to rebound?  I am only about 3 back of the wild card at the half-way point.

I wouldn't think he'd suck that bad playing mostly against lefties but the numbers don't lie.   I wouldn't think SD would suppress his stats that badly but it appears it does.    What's most surprising is the lack of walks.  I'd guess you have "hit and run" on aggressive/very aggressive because you're trying to generate runs.   He's not a hit and run guy.  That could hurt the numbers.
