Clemson-Va Tech.   ACC Championship game preview.    And there are a couple of fatass midwesterner teams playing that might be a preview of the Big Ten to Twelve championship game but I think that conference is muddled with mediocrity.

THEY ADDED SYRACUSE AND PITT!!!!  SURELY YOU'RE NOT SUGGESTING JIM BROWN AND DAN MARINO ARE MEDIOCRE!!!!!

Clemson played surprisingly well against Florida State who had a chance to beat Oklahomo.  I have no idea how Va Tech maintains a top 20 program but they do.  Anyway, the ACC has plenty of speed players.   The Big Ten to Twelve must not because Shoelaces runs crazy against them.   He'd get destroyed by the big boys in the SEC.

who do you think will get the boot from the sux now that they have epically failed? francona? epstein? papelbon? would anyone be ******* stupid enough to trade for lackey or crawford?

As of this morning, I have a 2 run lead over the person in second place.  Nobody else is within reach.  The last games of the season are on Wednesday, so we have three games left.

I've got the Padres (home against the Cubs).  The other person has the Red Sox (on the road against the Orioles).

Can the Padres hold onto my two run lead for the next three days?
Padres score nine in the final game of the season, Red Sox held to three.  I come back win the pool by a single run.  Take home $104,

I'm not sure who they'll run off.   Epstein seems like the logical choice if not Francona.   Epstein brought in the underperformers or, if you prefer, Francona failed to get them to play to their potential.  No one is taking Lackey off their hands and they're not trading Crawford.

I can't imagine any day is a good day to be you.   It's just a better day if someone has to be you.

No.  He's put up pretty consistent numbers over his career and he's only 29.  I expect he'll bounce back and maybe they'll let him run a little more often.  Unless, of course, someone offered me an ace.

worse signing by theo: dice k or jd drew? i'm pretty sure lackey is the WORST signing by him. at least the other 2 were slightly above replacement player at times during their sux careers. and crawford should rebound some towards his career averages.

Both had a couple of decent seasons under the contract.  I'd probably say Dice-K due to the money they had to give his Japanese team and the expectations they had for him.  Everyone knew Drew was made of glass and would me mid 30s when the contract was over.
