I haven't heard anything but the general way it's done is to go from "player's coach" to "hard-nosed".   I don't think there's any way Larry Bowa gets back on the field but he'd fit the mold.

What's your take on Jose Valverde's guarantee that the Tigers are going to close out the ALDS in four games?  Should Jim Leland tell him to STFU?

I think it favors the Yankees.   Burnett is more likely throw 7 innings of shutout ball than CC.   CC will grind out 8 innings, 127 pitches while giving up 4 and pitching out of trouble 5 times.   Detroit was counting on 15-16 innings from Verlander.

I don't watch minor league baseball.
