If they have a 1947 season, they'll be in next year's draft. If their last season in the sim is 1946, then they will be available as supplemental players.

Here's one more question, sorry for the pestering, what about players one drafts that has a missing upcoming season but one wants to keep them on their roster because say 1949 is good? I have a player that is missing 1947 but is back with a decent 1948. Do we own player rights til they retire or we cut/trade them? Thanks.

We should be able to carry them as IR as long and we draft them or trade for them, that is how it is inevery league I've been in and that's a lot.
