While I've never owned an Apple computer or an ianything, I'm positive that some of the technology his company advanced is prevalent in my life.   Even if it isn't, he forced the advancement of some of the technology that is. 

Is Andrew Luck worth tanking for?

If you can do it without looking like you're doing it.   The scouts believe he's the closest thing to "can't miss" as you can get.  But, if management give the fans and the players the idea that you're not trying to win, there will be plenty of backlash.    I wouldn't buy a ticket to a game that's been pre-determined.   And I damn sure wouldn't want 300 lb men who run 4.5 40s repeatedly blasting me when I know the coach is trying to lose.   As organizations go, tanking seems Bengal-esque.

Should any team that considers tanking for Luck consider how the Baltimore Colts drafting of John Elway worked out for them?

Luck can return to college next year if he chooses.  That would seem crazy but you never know how much he wants to play professional football.   Being BMOC might be more alluring than QB for KC.

While it's not Cali, I'm sure he can find something to do in South Beach.

I'm sure you've noticed that no MLB players are saying "Man, I gotta get myself on the Marlins."     The Heat are a well-run franchise.  The Dolphins and Marlins are not.  So, no, I don't think he's clamoring to take his talents to South Beach. 

Has A-Rod become irrelevant to the Yankees?  How much confidence did you have in him when he came to bat with the bases loaded in the seventh, and as the potential final out in the ninth?

I'm hoping it was the injuries that limited his effectiveness and he was just battling thru them.    I don't want to put a number on it but it would have a - in front of it.

I played some board game where you built up a character but it only lasted 2-3 hours.   I'd have to guess it was similar to D&D but without the dress-up and never-ending game.

Six actually sounds about right.  If Oakland takes the lead into the 4th, it's money.   If they fall behind by 10 and have to play catch-up, at any point in the game, it's a loser.   Campbell cannot win a game for the team.
