Dow Jones under Obama : 6700-------18,500 Trumptards ignore

Dow Jones under Dump: 18,500-------22,000 Trumptards say "wow"

I never ignored it... I've told you time and time again Obama was awesome if you're are wealthy (or a gun or oil lobbyist). The wealthy under Obama are the only households who gained in wealth the last 8 years and that was in double digits. Everyone else was flat or negative.
and you think its any different now? Sad!
I'm wealthy and I vote with my wallet. Happy!
that's fine for you, but what about all the people who are not as well off as you? Trump doesn't give a **** about them, and neither do you. trump is not making America great again. All he's doing is making wealthy people wealthier.
Isn't that exactly what Obama did? Make wealthy people wealthier?

Trump is helping low income earners. For the first time in well over a decade low income earners were the most improved demographic in wages for Q2. 4 times more than the wealthy. I bet you didn't see that on CNN.
Moy ain't rich.
how would you know, and other than Moy and his relatives, who gives a ****?
Simple. Rich people don't brag about their 401Ks. Because they don't generally have 401Ks. So he's giving out some of his own #FakeNews

That is a pretty retarded statement.

Most people are surprised by this chart:

Based on the Internal Revenue Service’s 2010-2014 database below, here’s how much the top Americans make:

Top 1%: $380,354

Top 5%: $159,619

Top 10%: $113,799

Top 25%: $67,280

Top 50%: >$33,048

Only 565 billionaires in United States. ..I thought the number would be much higher. ..

He's partially right. Rich people don't generally brag about being rich. The show up in their expensive sports car wearing a gaudy watch and $4000 dollar shoes. You know.

When you ARE something, you don't have to tell people.

So if BL makes $250k a year and is in the top 2% of income earners in the entire nation.... Sjpoker thinks he would forego investing in a 401k?

Only about 1800 in the world. It's not easy to become a billionaire, even with Daddy's money.

Trump's fortune is disputed by many. And, since he's prone to exaggerate, they may have a point.

If an employer matches anything, it is a healthy rate of return. You should always invest at least that much. The 401k isn't the best investment, but your deduction isn't taxed.

Amazing that many people aren't even aware if their employer offers one. My experience has been that employers have done a decent job of bringing it to employees' attention...

I'm always amazed at how little people invest in their 401k. Most people that actually do invest only invest up to the company match. That's not enough to get them to the finish line... It's the equivalent of going to the gym for 6 minutes a day and expecting to see amazing results. People should strive to get to 15% of their income and most importantly as early in life as possible. Time is the best investment.

Yes, but there are better investments than the limited choices in most 401's. But you should invest at least what they match. You double your money.

Rather than invest heavily in their mutual funds, look at the index funds. They hold the same stocks but with much lower fees...usually.

Not going to disagree with that, it's true. However what is the likeliness that an employee will stay at one company forever? Very unlikely. Eventually that 401k money is rolled into an IRA at a bank or brokerage firm. At that point one can invest in pretty much anything they want. Also 401ks have higher annual contribution limits than IRAs.. I think its now $18,000 for 401ks versus and $5500 for IRAs.
