If you were Sparky, and you beat me tonight, would you change your draft list knowing that?

Would you say '**** potential, give me a guy who can help the Cup run right now?
Hell yes you play to win it now.

NHN is going to end up with 5 home playoff game pay days.

CHEATER!

Yeah, but only five. BD has home ice in the finals.

Believe me, I wasn't screwing around with the last two champs so it'd go three and I'd make an extra $7M!

Good series Sparky, good luck BD.

But it's EXACTLY the kind of game where I could get royally fucked. I want all my guns a-blazin'
God damn short practice day instead of a day off. God damn it all.

No, no I wouldn't have.

I guess I was tired of all those speed skaters. I drafted me a slow one!

rolled the dice on a high potential goalie.

who ended up with 60 stamina.

wasted pick.

im ready to roll. have a full lineup finally with another guy "recovering soon" and all my guys are at 100 health.

Maybe not. It's said in the forums (in a complaining kind of way) that the backup goalie seems to hog all the improvements if there's a big difference between him and the starter.

He MAY start turning some of that potential into skill in a hurry.

MAYBE to the detriment of some other guys you'd like to develop.

Something to be learned from watching it play out though.

and four of my top five survived the 3rd round. I'm psyched that I'll get one my current top two.

Until I see his 58 stamina that is...

I got a guy with 63 overall, 88 potential & 51 off/78 def. He may only be around his rookie year unless his stats improve quickly with practice.

Ok. I think I figured it out. The rookie can't be added to your roster during the playoffs (trade/sign deadline has passed). I went to go add my pick to the roster and he's not there yet.

he was the one I lost out of my top five that round.

He'll be a 70-72 after a practice. I like his speed/strength combo. I'm less concerned (these days anyhow) w/ OFF, DEF, SP and SA. They go up pretty quick for everybody. So I try to get the other stats knowing those four will come. It's his stamina that scares me. I was scarred for life with last year's pick missing 12 regular season games, and the whole playoffs (and 42 potential practice days).
