I like how the best you can do for a defense is accuse me of reading moveon.org (as though moveon.org is a news site) on the same page where I list all the right-wing sites and commentators I've read on this particular issue.

Even your insults are brainless and incoherent. **** off, tool. Your opinions are worthless.

I didnt say you should read moveon.org, I said you should post on moveon.org.

Your a liar! You lie!!

see how stupid that sounds. See how only a moron like you would call opinions and beliefs lies??

You have no idea what you are talking about. You never contribute ANYTHING except insults and you have no idea how America works.

I have always tried to keep you in the discussion just because beating up on you is fun. I can see now you are a lost cause, a 100% Democratic partisan that cannot see the truth if it was tatooed on the inside of your eyes!

Also, here's the proof of your latest lie.
So let me get this straight....

Fox reported something that wasnt 100% accurate, Obama fired someone based on that report, so its Fox's fault??

The President of the US and the Secretary of Agriculture are both claiming that they screwed up because the fired someone because Fox said something about them!!

How sad.

i don't think anyone is dismissing the administration from any fault.  They screwed up.  FOX has been baiting these guys from day one and they keep taking it.

What it does do is provide more evidence on how partisan FOX is and how poor they are for a reliable news source.

Obama didn't fire anyone. Nor did he ask for anyone's resignation. Another lie.

Correct, but there is a recurring theme here that whenever FOX decides to take a non-story or an altered story and blast it out to the lemmings all day, the Obama administration caves in.  Obama has to be held accountable for this at some point.

And lets look at what FOX did through an objective eye.

1 A stroy that someone working for the government made racist statements. They put it up.
2 The story had more sides to it. Fox reported that.

All Fox was doing was trying to scoop everyone else. Long history of reporters jumping the gun on stories for a scoop.

Sherrod claimed multiple times that the White House pressured her to resign. Guess we only believe her if she is bashing Conservatives!

Or did she lie too? Or are you a liar?

Actually by Anton's definition we are all liars.

No, what they did was copy and paste a story from a right wing blogger without doing any journalistic research of their own.  That's the problem with FOX, they do this **** all the time and then try to dump on other media outlets for not reporting the story.  As much as I dislike CNN, MSNBC and the nightly newscasts, at least they try and gather SOME facts before they run with a story.

For those that may not be aware of how this works, it's pretty simple.

- Unreliable, right-wing, agenda-driven source provides FOX with edited video or something to that effect (quotes out of context, unidentified sources with some sort of information, etc.)
- FOX runs wall-to-wall coverage on the supposed story, turning it into a full-fledged scandal.
- Meanwhile, other news outlets are trying to figure out if this is a real story or not (and it's not).
- While they're doing that, FOX and other right wing news sources are puffing their chests and letting their followers know that the "liberal media" isn't covering the story.
- FOX minions yell and scream about the clear bias in the "liberal media"
- Other news outlets cave into pressure in order to be perceived as fair, and run what was basically a non-story or at least a story that doesn't deserve headline attention, giving the story a sense of credibility.
- Repeat

What would you have had Obama do? One of Vilsack's top aides (Cheryl Cook) pressured Sherrod to resign as soon as Fox started pushing the story; Vilsack then backed up his aide when Breitbart's bullshit first started to stink but before the depth of it had become apparent. The White House's first input, 24-odd hours later and after the full deception was obvious to everyone, was to lean on Vilsack to apologize and try to make amends.

If you think he should have made an example of Vilsack or Cook I wouldn't particularly disagree, but if Obama has set any example for the people in his administration it's not to jump the gun on anything, and to act at a more deliberate pace. Van Jones lost his job because of Fox's bullshit, sure, but not within two hours.

I just don't understand what responsibility he can possibly have for a decision that was made by someone in the USDA, before he would even have been aware there was a situation to address.

It seems to me there there is a prevailing philosophy that these FOX issues need to be nipped in the bud.  Sure, it was Vilsack that overreacted, but they fall for this routine every time.  Vilsack probably figured that he would have to fire her anyway so why not give FOX the least amount of ammo that he could.  Obama needs to send a message to his administration that they're not gonna get bullied by the right wing media.
