Seems like we're in a long stretch where every pick has me saying to myself, "Aha! I've been wondering where that guy will go!"

jh taking Valanciunas broke the tie on my draft board between Jonas and Arvydas. And I've gone from wondering when the two season studs (like Penny) will be selected to wondering when the one season studs (like Sanders) will be picked.

Tortured as I feel, this draft is more fun than human beings should be allowed.
Same. There is one guy that I am completely mystified about. He could have gone in the third round. He could go undrafted. I'm just sitting here like the Michael Jackson in the Thriller video .gif waiting to see.

Same, on how fun this draft is. It's a draft league that incorporates and twists one of my favorite thing about progs, planning for multiple seasons. It's fun, but I'm wishing we were moving quicker. People obviously have higher priorities, and some want to plan meticulously due to the $50 it takes to play, which is all understandable.
But, this is the first draft in a while where I'm getting a little impatient. I guess that's a good sign of how excited people are for the league.

Yeah, I get a little impatient when it's been several hours during the day when people are normally up and someone ends up not picking till late when I'm still up & awake, but the guy(s) ahead of me are not. I also have an absurd sleep schedule (I go to bed sometime between 5am & 7am; wake up for work at 2pm), so I end up causing delays in drafts because of that and my bad experiences with proxies (probably not proxying again in this draft after today, sorry). But then again, it's just a game and we're through 6 full rounds since last weekend and chugging away at a 7th, so I think we're making good progress. But yeah, it's frustrating when you're sitting there for 4-5 hours a couple of picks away and know you're not going to get to pick till tomorrow.

i spent 3 straight hours yesterday putting together my frontcourt...it was equal parts maddening, exciting, pathetic, and satisfying...i have no regrets haha

im happy to say i have my frontcourt mins completely accounted for...i now like my team again...amare is a beast!

I like my team, but I might've messed up given that we have so many savvy owners. My first 2 picks were on bigs, last 4 have on been perimeter guys. It might not be a huge deal, given that Ben/Dwight will start every season, but maybe I should've gotten a quality backup sooner...

their defense and rebounding will make finding backups so much easier then most teams...i think youre in a good spot

Yeah, I'm not overly concerned yet, but Tree was one of my main targets. I've got 3 other guys I think would be great, but something like 11 picks until mine. When every owner is knowledgeable it creates a little tension. But having to adapt is part of the fun. It would be a lot less interesting if I got every guy I tabbed at the top of the round.

Maybe this will be incentive to get the draft moving:

If it gets to me tonight, you guys will see a drunken dB selection. Who knows what I’ll be thinking a few hours from now.

I'm on deck and I've been here all day. It's a safe bet a pick will be made as soon as I step away.

can we go on the clock yet?

I hope so, because I need one but I couldn’t resist Maxwell’s 3k minutes of 61.1 eFG% with 9.4 ORB% and 18.4 DRB% at SF.
