How the hell can Penn State NOT also fire Mike McQueary?  Since he actually witnessed the rape AND DID NOTHING TO IMMEDIATELY STOP IT, doesn't he have more "moral responsibility" than Joe Paterno did?

We've been having this discussion in the CFB forum and I think he should have done a lot more than he did.   But people will do just about anything to avoid confrontation.  Removing that child from the situation would have required him to confront a superior, a man he respected and admired.  I imagine the shock of seeing it prevented immediate action.  But, once he sorted it out in his mind, it's hard to believe he was OK with calling his dad for help in figuring out the "right" thing to do.  I see his employment with Penn State coming to an end before Saturday.  Maybe there just giving him a little of his own medicine.  Maybe they're calling somebody's dad to figure out what to do while he remains trapped in the situation.  I certainly don't think PSU is done cleaning house.

As a stand alone game, Stanford/Oregon.   Probably the last chance anyone will have to beat Stanford(Cal/ND aren't doing it) and deprive them a chance at the National Championship.  Two high-powered offenses on national TV in primetime.   Likely to be the exact opposite of LSU/Alabama last week.   And, in all likelihood, the only game that could derail the Luck Heisman train.    Depending on SC/Florida, the Georgia/Auburn game is 2nd.   SC wins and GA has to win to get the opportunity to lose by 40 in the SEC Championship game.  And, as we know, the winner of the SEC wins the National Championship.

It's cold in Boston.  And the people are fat, ugly and rude.  So probably never.   Sorry.

I would be hesistant to believe you.   Bostonians are also known for lying.   And stealing.   If not for the fatass midwesterners, they might be the worst people on earth.

Of course they can't.  But you've probably been infected with the fat/ugly/rude/lying/stealing disease as you've been in close proximity.  You might be a carrier.

I think you have to go with "I TOOK A TEAM FROM AN OWNER WHO WAS BOOTED DUE TO THE MWR!!!   THIS TEAM IS IN SHAMBLES!!!  THIS IS GONNA TAKE AWHILE!!!!!!"
