Carcillo showed alot of potential when he was dealt to Phoenix by the Pens. He has some skill, but takes stupid penalties on a regular basis. Tough customer for a smallish player though. He'll drop 'em with anybody.

He also draws a lot of penalties cause he gets under the skin of opponents... hes knocked out a few middles... but while not afraid to go with the heavies, he cant toss with em

He can play... but, he has no discipline whatsoever... maybe with Philly and the presence of Asham and Cote will calm him down as he doesnt have to be the only 'tough guy'

If he plays I would think Cote is out. I wouldn't have much of a problem with that since Cote hasn't done much this season. The one real bad thing about this trade is the 2nd rounder. I get Upshall had to be delt for some cap room but the 2nd just feels thown in and I don't think we will know what that 2nd turns into because I think it is for the 2011 draft since the Flyers already traded 09 and 10.
