the biggest thing pitt needs, IMO, is a sniper to play with crosby. someone like Cammalleri. crosby is a great passer, but just hasn't had the sniper to feed. and of course right now with the huge salary tied up in four players, they don't have the cap room to get a legitimate sniper, so crosby has to settle for twenty plus goal scorers instead of forty plus guys to feed. :>

Crosby can score....Maybe he doesn't need to pass it to anyone.

on the plus side, we're not screwed like chicago. we can keep all our players and still have enough to sign some fillers. i was looking at chicago's payroll, and it says they are at $57.5M in cap already for next year, with only fourteen major league players signed. and it's $62.9M with the bonuses. and they still need at least two decent d-men, as they only have four signed. i don't know how they're gonna work around that one. :>

Hopefully that's how it will work, but we'll have to see who's actually coming back first.
