Maybe not. It's said in the forums (in a complaining kind of way) that the backup goalie seems to hog all the improvements if there's a big difference between him and the starter.

He MAY start turning some of that potential into skill in a hurry.

MAYBE to the detriment of some other guys you'd like to develop.

Something to be learned from watching it play out though.

yea its true. my public team my main goalie was a 74 and the backup was a 68. after awhile the backup exploded skill wise and is now a 71.
