1932 Yankees are out of play. In a player search of all 1932 Yankees, Gordon Rhodes shows up with a 5.75 ERA. However, that is for a combined season between the Yankees and the Red Sox. Rhodes pitches 24 innings for the Yankees so he does not show up for them at all when using them for free play. Will had to choose a different team which is why he did just that.

The Lone Star series was split.

Game 1: My 2005 Astros defeat Soxy's 2010 Rangers, 7-0. Roger does it with the bat and the arm, driving in 2 with bases loaded and 2 outs in the bottom 2nd, and throwing 8 shutout innings with 7 Ks, giving up only 5 hits and 2 walks. Lane's slam in the 5th off Rich Harden put it out of reach and Adam Everett added a solo shot later. W: Clemens. L: Harden.

Game 2: Rangers 11, Astros 5. Wandy Rodriguez got shelled in the 4th and 5th as Ian Kinsler's 3-run blast in the top 5th broke a 4-4 tie. Vladimir Guerrero (4 RBI) added a 3-run blast off Russ Springer with 2 outs in the top 6th. W: Cliff Lee. L: W. Rodriguez.

Don't be so sure tomjames. You have actually played your games which counts in standings. Going to give ample time this round bc of importance so games are due no later than Thursday to get them in.

Game 1: Will's 2000 Red Sox defeat my 2005 Astros, 6-4. Dan Wheeler and Brad Lidge epically fail to hold a 4-run lead in top 8th, with PH Jose Offerman's bases-clearing 1-out double off Lidge putting the Red Sox up 5-4. W: Garces. L: Lidge. Sv: Beck.

Game 2: Red Sox 3, Astros 0. CG 2-hit, 10 K, no BB shutout by Pedro. Top 3rd with 2 outs, Nomar gets an RBI ground-rule double, then Carl Everett drives him in. Lou Merloni adds a 2-out RBI double in top 6th, all runs off Clemens. W: P. Martinez. L: Clemens.
