Plus Dave Geisel
Plus an aspiring pitcher being retrained as bullpen catcher, John Cumberland.

Excellent center fielder; all the tools; high-strung; became a nervous wreck, thanks in some measure some say, to Leo Durocher. If he'd been nurtured much more carefully 1969 might have been salvaged by the Cubs.

I can't tell you how close I was to taking Geisel last round, but went in a different direction last second.
