One pitch.  If you're not familiar, each batter sees one pitch.   Hit, out or walk.  No fouls.   Entire series can be played in 2 hours.   Rosters will be trimmed to 15 and, due to the union fighting for jobs, MLB will expand to 78 teams.   18 will be overseas.   The season will start in May and complete sometime in late July.

Wouldn't it make more sense to change major league baseball into 3 leagues, and have Japan's champion be the 4th team in a World Series semifinal?

How about this: when there's nobody on base, the batter has the option of running the bases clockwise or counter-clockwise when he puts the ball in play.  Once a direction is chosen, subsequent hitters have to follow the same direction as long as there are runners on base.  Once the bases are empty again, it reverts back to batter's choice.

Sounds like something Bud would endorse, right?

That's actually not half bad.   3 leagues, 10 teams.  Play all 9 of your league opponents 18 times.  Top 2(or 4 if you want) make the playoffs.

Now that's just silly.

I had to start Eric Decker yesterday. Five targets, no receptions. Is there any point in me even paying attention to my players on Sunday?

Watch Louis Murphy.  He can make downfield blocks.  I'm sure your league gives points for that.

Do they televise the Raiders these days?

Only when they're playing the Denver Tebows.

wouldn't hitters obviously just pick clockwise so the righty SS would break his arm trying to turn a double play?

So it turns out JoePa has lung cancer. Is that why he couldn't blow the whistle on Sandusky?

Where would you rather have a weak defensive player, left field or right field?

Should authorities have the right to take someones child if they name him Adolph Hitler?

I'm not sure that was a factor.

RF.  Less opportunities.   But it depends on the weakness.

They could be doing a lot worse.
