These remarks?
"We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides. On many sides,"
-The Donald
That's just another try to relativize things.
Do you believe, dear moy, that there were fine or good people in that horde of fascists or racists?
To answer your question, I don't know... And neither do you.
What I can tell you is I've seen President's ignore the real issue and pick sides. Obama for instance siding with BLM over cops caused retaliation in Texas where 5 cops were ambushed and multiple locations like NYC haf cops shot sitting in their car.
Trump is looking at the facts. One horrible, terrible, atrocious, group of people get a permit to protest. The content under the 1st amendment is irrelevant. Another group without a permit come with shields and weapons to anti-protest. A fight ensues.
Trump's statements.... He's stating FACTUALLY that BOTH sides are wrong to fight, and that both sides are harboring hated.
Answering who's more at fault for this is like deciding which is worse.... Killing sometime with a gun or killing them with a knife? The point is the answer to that question doesn't matter.... Either way that person is dead. In this case... BOTH SIDES ARE HATERS. The problem is the Hate! Not whose the lesser of the two haters.
Trump's trying to address the REAL issue (the hate and violence) but the media and the politicians want to run behind scripted responses condemning one side or another.
"No Cops, No KKK, No Fascist USA!"
