Not a whole lot of cap space under the 35 mil. signed a 40 year old goalie cuz he was the only good 1 available and mine suck.

picked up another good young blue liner plus an insurance player. had to cut my old starting goalie plus a guy i didnt want anyway.

i probably missed out on some good players but that ******* 35 mil cap. i had to spent about double to sign 2 players because i had to cut some scrubs.

BD, warning about Nylin... his skills were declining. He's like my all-time leading scorer, but I wasn't going to re-sign him because of it. His experience came in handy during the finals though.

I badly wanted Joler, but his $6M a year salary was a bit much considering I have Sitto and a bunch of other guys I need to look at re-signing after this season.

BTW, I have a backup goalie who's contract is up, but when I go to dump him, it says I need to pay him $990k. WTF?

I had to give my two guys who were up nice cash parting gifts too.

I don't think you can cut them for free until after the offseason. But by all means, keep checking in case I'm wrong.
