College football is moving in another direction. Super conferences with 16 teams. The Big East wants in on it. We're gonna have the Pac-16, the Big 16(they'll insist on being called the Big 10), SEC, ACC and, if Texas catches on, the Texas-16. If the Big East can pull it off, 96 teams will be covered with AQ bids. The remaining 27(I think three FBS schools are moving up) will be SOL.
The Big East caught on before you did.
With the success of the Patriots big pass catchers, I think that's the "next big thing". Not counting Tebow, of course.
