I don't know that 40 is an automatic retire.

I can certainly use the cash, but not sure that it would be a fair enough trade to go through.

you're right.

Players Aging

In the GHL a player ages 1 in game year for every in game season. There are 92 days in a season so therefore a player will age close to 4 in game years for every real life year. Players will retire depending on their skills and health when they are approximately 42 years old.
