I brought back Kris Bailey. The underperforming former first rounder. Other than my one reliever I kinda **** the bed. If my offense doesnt turn around and guys dont start performing to my expectations, Im gonna have to go full tear-down mode. I wish I had all my former pitchers that hit free agency.

If Adcock performs like he should and my signings pan out just a bit, I'll be alright. I still have just about the best pitching in the A.L.

I also think part of it has to do with how people see age.  Some people see someone over 30 and think that they are basically done...  not knowing that people can maintain near peak levels till 35 or later.

I think it has more to do with what TM said. patrickm probably realized that jose was the only fish left in the sea. In his defense, Its not like he was the only one bidding. nellie dropped out at $17 x5 yrs. Then there was - well - bret ;)

I think I have been in like 4 WS over the last 7 or 8 seasons of $ and without even looking probably have 4-5 times as many WS appearances and championships as you in less seasons.

Not sure you want to rely on your "resume" in this discussion.
But he's got eatting with chopsticks listed as a skill, surely that's got to count for something.
