Trump: Worst President Ever? Topic

Do you think the constant bickering between left/right or Repub/Dem is what's best for America? Do you think the removal of Trump ends that?
Nope, and nope.

But the bickering has been overshadowed by the shitshow on Pennsylvania Avenue.

One thing at a time. Get rid of Trump first. Then vote all the other clowns out of office starting with the 2018 mid-terms.

If you are on the same side as Bronxcheer....well I would pick a different side. And Mike is 100% correct. Trump or no Trump this country is divided. If you cannot see that you are either blind or an optimist. I think people should be able to believe what they want to believe without being vilified for it.
So if someone thinks the earth is flat or that it is only 4,000 years old, or that Hillary ran a sex trafficking ring in the basement of a DC pizza parlor, it's ok?

Everyone has opinions, but that doesn't mean their opinion is right.

For someone who tried to bust on me for "guessing that I don't have a college degree", you sure do have a ****** grasp of basic sentence structure and punctuation.

It's my opinion that Trump was elected for 2 reasons.

1. All the bickering between right/left gave us nothing out of DC. Trump was an outsider. People, mistakenly, thought he could get something done.
2. His opponent was Hillary.

If I'm right, removing Trump does nothing to further America. We're back to the same **** we hated. Trump being Trump isn't his fault. The fact that he was deemed a viable candidate is a failure of American politics.

Eh? We need to write correctly on the Internet? Since when and you are giving extreme examples. You know what I mean. Don't play coy.

Ding.Ding.Ding. We have agreement.

The disagreement is what to do (or How) to move on, NOW that we're in this "shitshow".
This ain't reality TV. Trump is in WAY over his head, and he's (maybe) way worse than slime.......... time will tell.
IF he is slime, he HAS to go.......... he ran on a campaign of drain the swamp (as an outsider as you noted!).
You can't have the head snake of all snakes in charge of the swamp WHEN we know that's the case!
He'd HAVE to go!

I never play coy, but I did stay in a Holiday Inn last night.

Truth

Trump said outrageous things but he seemed honest. He did not just win he crushed it. To me it illustrates:

-- The silent majority was sick of the Prog. Left telling them what was right and what was wrong.
-- HRC was a terrible candidate

The Prog. Left was for Occupy Wall St. so someone who borrowed $200k in student loans and received a degree in History from a mid-tier school is angry because they cannot get a job to repay their debts? Well then get a marketable skill OR got to an elite school if you want a useless liberal arts degree.

What MAJOR IRREVERSIBLE DAMAGE do you think Trump can do?

We've got this thing called "Checks and balances" in addition to THREE branches of government. Now I know the CRAZY left is yammering on about nuclear war but that's not real. That's just CRAZY left talk. So what horrible thing can Trump do?
You sound like someone who got the 6th grade explanation of how government works and nothing else. The executive branch has tons of autonomous power. Judicial appointments, agency directives, executive orders, prioritizing resources, etc. The only thing we've got working for us now is the fact that Trump is totally incompetent and doesn't actually care about governing. If he had a real agenda, or allowed someone with a real agenda to influence him, they could do a lot of damage.

They could completely **** up the environment, kill net neutrality, wreck foreign relations. There are no checks on those things.
Enlighten me. Which one of these horrible things so you think he will ACTUALLY DO?
Any of the examples in the last paragraph are realistic.
So Bush had these same powers? Obama? I know you love you some Obama but what did Bush do, BY HIMSELF, that ****** up America?
So your thread has gone from Trump is the worst president ever to really...how bad could he be? Certainly no worse than Bush.

GORSUCH!!!!!

Do I win anything?

Now you've inserted the word "single-handedly" into MY mouth. I never made such a statement.

However, to try and answer, as the actual head of state, he DOES have the power to either initiate a series of disastrous moves (on any number of potential fronts, from economic to security) or (perhaps more likely) to NOT take action when required due to a number of reasons I see possibly lacking within his character,......... from certainty to temperance, solidity of focus, thoughtful judgment........... need I continue?

It's a fairly big job, don't you think? **** happens. I don't like the hands (or more precisely the Mind!) we're dependent on.
And don't tell me Congress will save us........ that's a YUGE freaking Joke! They can't agree what kind of icon to apply to the door of the men's room.
I suspect you know that.

Explain how that is irreversible damage and how any other GOP Pres., would not have done the same thing?
