Yep... talk about a fitting game. They lose 5-0 to the team with the lowest GF in the whole league!!! Not that the Bruins are a bad team. Just fitting that they get blown out but a team whose GF is lower than theirs.... It time to bring out the golf bag

That would imply that what you have to say actually means something. Since it doesn't, no abuse taken.

well, boston is still a good team. sucks that we lost, but colorado lost as well, and they're schedule doesn't get any easier either. can we go 7-0? probably not. will colorado go 4-4? i don't think that's happening either. our chances are slim and none, but slim hasn't quite the building, he's just making his way to the exit. if we lose tomorrow and colorado wins, then it's over. if we win tomorrow and colorado loses.... then we still have a slight chance. anything can happen. :>

True they are not 'mathmatically' eliminated (yet)...still realistically speaking the ONLY thing in doubt is the GM's job. You have a team with no early round picks and with a bunch of 'inflated' contracts. Giving the team very little flexibility. As much as Jokin' was overpaid for what you got, his contract was better the Kotalik's!!! The Rangers are loving at the fact they found a sucker.... I'd rather have Jokin' over Kotalik any day. At least from time to time his name was on the score sheet (goal or assist).

Iginla is going to make a great 3rd line center for the Canucks when the fire sale starts in Calgary..Reghr can play 3rd line d with O.B. but he may be a little slow?

who's gonna take Stajan at that contract? Flames may be stuck with him? ..a franchise player possibly?

well, we got it done tonight, and so did the sharks. still have a chance. couple day break and then we face off against phoenix, and the avs face off against the ducks. four back now, though they still have a game in hand, and more wins. but we also have a game against them. i ain't giving up on us yet.


as for iginla, i was actually thinking that it might be a good idea to trade him in the offseason. he's still a great player, but with three years on his $7M contract, he might not be worth as much as each year passes. if we could pick up a good young player for him, it would help us out a lot. and he is starting to show signs of age. hate to do it to him, as he's played his whole career in calgary, but sometimes you gotta do what's best for the organization. :>

I would never trade Iginla... there is something to be said for a player being loyal to his team and his city, which he has, and the organization needs to be respectful back... he's taken home town discounts and now for the fans or the city to turn his back on him

Unless they trade Iginla because he requested it, he should remain a Flame... I would truly be choked if they were to trade him without his blessing.

Nick, maybe there is a glimmer of hope, I did not think the Avs would tank, but then again I have been expecting the Av's to tank since opening night back in October.

Flicker... must win on Friday... we arent in if we win, but out if we lose... I might watch
