with wainwright back, a full year of freese (sp?) and furcal, and beltran playing in the outfield, do the cards win more games next year than the just passed year?

If WIS started a dynasty pro football game, would you sign up for a team?

Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, or Google Chrome?

what does it mean when i'm leading every cycle of free agency of the first day, but then have a couple holdouts who haven't signed at the first or second opportunity? people are bidding but just haven't overtaken me yet? how long do they wait (non studs) before just signing with me if i'm still the high bidder?

I might try it.   I like college football better than I like professional football but I didn't like gridiron dynasty all that much.    I think pretty much any game isn't going to compare well with HBD because of it's depth.   Other games don't have minor leagues to develop players.

I use IE because the rest always seem to have some glitch.

They are probably receiving other bids.   Some may wait the entire FA period.

Evidently.   Maybe.  Not because they're better because you don't replace Pujols in that line-up but because they didn't play very well last year until the very end.

Advanced to 2nd round and now matched up with #1 seed.  They finished 102-60, twenty games better than me.  They are ranked in the top 3 in hitting and fielding and better than average in pitching even though their home park is 0, 2, 0, 2, 3.

My team went 8-2 against them in the regular season but most of the games were 1-run or 2-run games.  I am debating whether to pitch my best starters in Games 1 and 2 on the road or save them for games 3 and 4 where my ballpark (-4, -3, -3, -4, -4) is more pitching friendly.

He has two top-notch SP's, one of which went 20-1 in the regular season (his lone loss to me ironically) and two others that I am not concerned about.

My #3 and #4 are better than his statistically.  Do I roll the dice hoping I can split against his aces in the first two games? If I can do that, I might be able to get ahead in the series.

Any suggestions?

I'd want the opportunity to pitch my best the most often.   In a five game series, I can usually use my 1 at least twice and sometimes I can use my 2 twice.   So it's 1-2-3-1-2 or 1-2-3-4-1.   I'd rather do that than worry about who he's pitching.  You can't concede a game in a 5 gamer.

A Christmas Story or Elf?

I'm all about A Christmas Story

I've never been able to watch Elf all the way thru.   Ferrell is hit and miss, IMO.
