Looks like it could be helpful, but the trial version is definately going to be a neccessity before most people will pony up $30 for it. So good call with the one week thing. I don't mind supporting indie developers either as long as their program is worth it.

I have not been following the thread tracking this product's development so I appologize if these questions have already been asked and answered. As I understand it, the primary benefit of this product is to project player progression. It's secondary function is to act as a long term storage device. Is that correct?
Regarding the player progressions - does this product consider and compensate for the following?
1) the randomness of GPA and the potential need to put more minutes into Study Hall
2) injuries including the loss of skills and the lack of skill growth when less than 80% healthy
3) reduced playing time due to foul trouble and/or setting players to the conservative foul agressiveness setting
4) reduced skill improvement due to poor team performance - players tend not to work as hard when their team is on an extended losing streak
5) increased playing time for backups in blow out games (if set for it)
6) the randomness of off-season improvement
If these questions have been addressed in the other thread, please say so. Otherwise, I look forward to your responses. Thank You

Thanks for the quick response. I am still trying to decide on this and the clarifications help. I will probably decide after the trial period.

I am a capitalist through and through so I applaud the entrepreneurial spirit elmore. I will check out the free trial and see what it can do. If it can save me some time I am all for it.

I'm amazed the differences between this thread and the development one. In the previous thread, everyone was gushing about how great this program looked and they couldn't wait to get it.
Then this thread announces its availability, and everyone comes on and trashes the very idea of the software.
Either folks were shocked by the $30 price, everyone is trying to discourage the competition from using this, or folks just like to be negative.

lol. no doubt

somewhat is a bit of an understatement.....I was expecting 15 at most.

I would suggest a 1 season trial for $5. With that going towards an annual fee of $15.00. If people like it, you'll have a renewable income.
$30.00 is steep, site unseen for something that no one really knows will work as advertised.

$30 is way too much. You lost a lot of customers with that.
3/25/2008 8:59 PM
Yeah, I saw 30$ and didn't even read anything else.

30 bucks 1 time in your life is going to kill you guys? I'm not saying its even worth it, but if it IS worth owning, is 30 really too much?
