Since they can only sign 6 FR, I do not see much of a reason to limit $ like before.

JUCO's are going to be a really hot commodity for the next few seasons. I hope they take that into account when they generate recruits.
Initially I like this idea, but I'd want to think if there's a way to exploit this.

if we are talking realism.. then WHY in heavens name do you get more $$ when you have 5 opening than 2... I dont imagine any big time schools cut a coach's budget because he only has one schollie open..

kannc6, I think HD recruiting cash is really just a way to model available recruiting effort. And you are certainly correct that this is not governed in RL by number of spots available. The big difference between HD and RL is that in HD, it's an auction for players. In RL, that isn't really the case, where so many other factors come into play: playing style, pro prospects of recruits, prestige being much more important, and the great biggie that it's not REALLY known (at least with 100% accuracy as in HD) who the best players are (where in HD, ALL coaches know ALL there is to know about the skills of ALL players). So the way WIS has designed it, where those other factors don't exist, money is the single dimension they've chosen to use. Once they decided to not incorporate all those other RL factors, they themselves with the current auction format, which pretty much demands "budgets" based on spots to fill. In a perfect world, HD would incorporate these factors, but such is life. :)

free throw discrepancies need fixing more than the -5.

The -5 Myth was proven to be false by a Scientific Study conducted by ADMIN. I think it is time people started to look for second gunman and drop the -5 Myth!

agreed, especially when it seems like every 2nd half starts out with 3-5 fouls in the first minute or 2

the +5 won the DIII NC in Naismith a couple of seasons ago and it was set on auto pilot.
