Norbert, I think my team has a glitch. In the roll-over, all my players went up or stayed the same, with only 5 of the 23 players gaining more than three points overall. Generally, the older players improved less than the young players, but not always. No problem so far. Here's the problem: one 33-year-old player improved 22 points overall. Can that be right??? At 33 years old??? Norbert, I am referring to Forward Remko Vervoort on my Voorburg Eagles team in World 70, and if you can possibly check that for a glitch I would certainly appreciate it. Thank you so much.
(Why worry? Because if he would have an overall rating and salary in the expected range, my team would not be in the red.)
This isn't due to player development, but rather to how the player ratings were calculated. We realized that some of the older beta clubs had been generated under a different model and to make sure ratings are consistent from the start of the league ongoing, we recalculate the ratings as you get placed in a league. Newer clubs should not see any different, which means after all the beta clubs get placed in league, this won't be noticeable.
But this
IS NOT part of the normal player development. It's a one time adjustment to get players under the same development model.
Sorry this was not made more prominent, but this is absolutely good advice to check your players before renegotiating and check to see if your lineups and subs are still what you desire.
