No, that's what they're fixing. Players (and more importantly their salaries) get lopped off your roster until you're in the black. If that leaves you with less than the minimum, a high-priced player is lopped off and two players not nearly half as good are put on, and that is repeated as many times as necessary. Some guys who think they had killer teams to start with are going to find out their luck wasn't as good as they thought. You really do not want to be in the red, which is as it should be.

maybe I should have kept my crappy *** team instead of creating a new mediocre team. Figures...

I just got my rolled-over team in a league, and all I can say is, "GuYS, COMPARE YOuR TEAM TO WHAT THEY WERE BEFORE THE ROLL-OVER." I hope you all kept a record of where they started or what they were before the roll-over.

Norbert, I think my team has a glitch. In the roll-over, all my players went up or stayed the same, with only 5 of the 23 players gaining more than three points overall. Generally, the older players improved less than the young players, but not always. No problem so far. Here's the problem: one 33-year-old player improved 22 points overall. Can that be right??? At 33 years old??? Norbert, I am referring to Forward Remko Vervoort on my Voorburg Eagles team in World 70, and if you can possibly check that for a glitch I would certainly appreciate it. Thank you so much.

(Why worry? Because if he would have an overall rating and salary in the expected range, my team would not be in the red.)

This isn't due to player development, but rather to how the player ratings were calculated. We realized that some of the older beta clubs had been generated under a different model and to make sure ratings are consistent from the start of the league ongoing, we recalculate the ratings as you get placed in a league. Newer clubs should not see any different, which means after all the beta clubs get placed in league, this won't be noticeable.

But this IS NOT part of the normal player development. It's a one time adjustment to get players under the same development model.

Sorry this was not made more prominent, but this is absolutely good advice to check your players before renegotiating and check to see if your lineups and subs are still what you desire.

What do I need to do to play? Should I change from Scotland to another nationality or just wait it out. I know my team has been on the waiting list for at least 3 or 4 months. I would just like to play if possible.

Patience my friend. They just started forming leagues a few days ago and there are a TON of people wanting to play. Did you log into your team between 10/20 and 11/24? If so, you're on the list and will get in soon. I'm in Scotland also and would bet that we get placed before the end of the week. It looks like USA is in pretty much every world and there have been a ton of England, Ireland and Italy so far. I think Brazil started getting placed a day or so ago. That should put Scotland pretty close to the front of the line.

Also, you can't change nationality without deleting your team and there will be a waiting period to get back in.

From what I can tell, there should be a Scotland league tonight.

any word on israel? i was told that by switching my country i would get into a world faster, but that just hasnt happened since my move about a month ago to israel. whats up?

Probably about 7 days before Israel, and I don't recall ever saying anyone would get into a world quicker by switching countries. In fact, I think I said the opposite.

holy cow...player adjustments. Another reason I should have just kept my first, horrible team. Wish I would have known that!!! I might already be in a world

So is the overall rating just an average, or is it calculated based on different stats?

It's basically just an average. We played around with different formulas for different positions, but with the fact that basically any player can play any position (and even multiple positions), it got way to complicated to come up with anything useful. It's also difficult because you may be looking at different ratings for different players at the same position. For instance, you might want one forward that is great at control skills and passing and one that's a great shooter.

Overall should be used mostly to tell the relative overall strength of a player and not necessarily to tell you which player is better.

So a player with higher overall is likely more of a rounded player, while a player with less overall might be the better goalscorer/playmaker?

I can't delete my team either and I cannot change my Nationality. What gives?

Question regarding player fatigue;

If my player is set to auto-rest at 80%, does this mean that at the end of the game, if his health is 80 or lower, he will not play the next game? Or is it "in game' meaning if it comes to halftime and his health is below 80 he will get subbed?

thanks
Pat
