Does that mean, if I had a guy with splits on 85 cubs, and more IP/PA with Cubs, but verynice doesn't want him, I can have him?

i believe so

The draft setup should remain as it was originally spelled out. That's what I based my choice of team upon.

Ok, I answered my own question on Tekulve. First page says team with most PA/IP gets that player

Another Question: Dave Tomlin

1 ip for 85 Pirates. According to a post above, could I add Tomlin for any other year he played?

No, only 85 seasons are being used. The previous issue was concerning players who could be placed on your initial DL. In Tomlin's case, since he had useable pre-85 seasons...IF he had future useable seasons, he could be put on a DL. Since he doesn't, he has essentially "retired".

Oh...and welcome Fish!

Yes, if verynice has cut him, and you could use him, I wouldn't have a problem with that.

Yeah, that is my feeling too...just if there was a "revolt" against that idea, it would be something to discuss. I do agree with Hodags earlier statement that 5 years likely would be too long, so I have been telling owners of late that we are looking at 3 years for this draft format.

Yeah, pretty sweet. This filled up very well, with a group of great owners. Thanks a ton guys! Pleasantly surprised. ...and the Braves should NOT be hard to fill. So, who wants the last spot?

I'm ok with draft order based on RL w/l for first 3 years, not 5, but let's make that an official rule now rather than later.
