Thanks for the heads-up. I'd rather just schedule 11 teams and look for a long-term person then get a Sim.

Recruiting update:

I just posted a bulletin on the SoCal Conference Coaches Forum. There are some excellent squads there that have done no scheduling for next season. I'm hopeful maybe we will get a nibble from one of those coaches.

If that doesn't pan out, I have a list of 7 other coaches who have decent programs, seem likely to stick around and haven't done any scheduling. I will sitemail them if nobody from SoCal is interested.

If we don't get a taker by Friday night, I will just schedule an 11-team tournament for next season.

The final NJAC games pending for SO XIV will not affect the final standings as far as pool seending for the next cycle. So, the pool assignments for Shootouts XV-XVI are now posted on the frontpage of this thread. This allows me to begin the scheduling process.

Heck I didn't even notice that. I strictly went off the rotation of alternating with the last time 2 teams played. Looks like the shake up of the pools put your guys in a weird spot with that alternating style.

If you're willing to roll with it, then at least your pool games will all be home the following Shootout. If you would rather have some equity, don't schedule anything yet and I'll flip a couple for you with Tournament Director's Perrogative.

Let me know. This has been the most challenging one of these to schedule with teams dropping, trying to get replacements, and the daily grind. It's hard to believe this is the 11th one of these I've organized!

I would like, if I can, at least ONE more home game. I don't mind a little unbalanced, but that the way it is would be brutal.

Consider it done.

Because then if I have my remaining open slot also be a home game, and given one of my first two slots is a home game, I would end up four home to six away, which wouldn't be that bad.
