McHale too??

I debated McAdoo and McHale.

i dont know why cjok wanted mark jackson (in the draft forum)... he's got oscar already, and mjack doesn't shoot many 3's... perhaps i'm missing something.

Thinking of using Oscar as a 2 guard, with a Asst first true PG. Oscar is 100% from PG all the way to SF, and he has plenty of rebounds to back it up.

I've had moderate success with that theory in other leagues - I like your style.

Random observations:

Gilmore can be a perfect compliment to Moses.
Think of what I did 2 seasons ago (most expensive gilmore + 87-88 Barkley). Only you'll have even better rebounding with Moses than I did with Barkley, less fouls, better defense while only spending 200k more and sacrificing very little efg%.

Mailman in 3rd round blows my mind. Holy crap. That's an expensive (yet effective) threesome to start with. Holy FTA batman!

Oscar/Mark Jackson allows you to get the absolute most selfish players out there to fill out your roster and not worry about the ast% minimum. There are a couple of seasons of Jackson's that have decent threes, including his ridiculous 40%+ ast% one.

I like what jakotay's doing.

empdenied, too... d-wade's 08-09 season is a freaking monster, and he's paired it nicely thus far.

some nice teams shaping up!

Love the McGrady/Hill wing duo, monkee.

Gallatin was an impulse buy once I did the salary math and realized I needed to change my drafting strategy. His efg% is of course horrible but Howard evens out the equation pretty well and Harry the Horse won't shoot much on this team anyway. The combination of my two bigs means the rest of the starting lineup doesn't need to provide huge rebounding support.

garyman's team could be very deadly, assuming his next two picks provide some firepower! shaq, fat and murphy give him some good rebounds and are very, very efficient with the basketball.

ltb's outside of the box thinking on gallatin could be really key. Howard and Gallatin will control the boards.

I'm curious to see what scud has up his sleeve for the next pick.

monkee's team is could be ridiculous.

98avgs looks remarkably like an OL team, which could mean bad things for his opponents.

I'm not sure what to think about cenquist or uva's teams... except that both usually do absurdly well with a style that nobody else seems to be able to successfully implement, so lookout.

scud's right - lot of nice teams developing.

no love for the alcindor / buck combo?

my SG should round this club out right!

I honestly think this ODL has the toughest looking teams pre-draft so far I have ever seen. Of course, I haven't been in ODL for a while so maybe I am just getting old...
11/20/2009 11:31 PM
Chris Bosh & Chris Mullin..... never used Bosh. I had no idea he was 100% at sf, pf and c. I plan to start him at small forward with his 10rpg and slide him over to pf or c to make room for a sf i need to draft later that can hit some 3's. Was it you scud that won the championship a few seasons ago with Mullin as their sg? I know you beat me last year in the finals but somebody won it a few seasons ago and Mullin killed me. I also needed FTA and Mullin & Bosh both shoot over 500.

Wow, bold splurge with Haywood. I wondered if he was going to see playing time in this league.
