Tanker removed, reinstated 2 days later Topic

They are too short sighted to see that by bringing this guy back, it makes 7 or 8 other owners want to quit. That's some pretty simple math. Luckily, this is a public world, and if the commish does his duty in the offseason, the problem is solved. I think we have some recent examples in public worlds of WiS' respecting the "rights" of a tanker against the wishes of the majority of honest owners. The result every time is that a bunch of people quit that world, and perhaps HBD/WiS altogether. Yaz world benefited from the Maris blow up - we gained a good owner out of it.

No. But lets face it Phil, a guy can openly admit to repeatedly taking advantage of another player and all he will get is a warning, and a few seasons later a championship.

In a private world, the commish should prevent a crap owner from returning for a future season. Even if it means holding up the rollover of the league, a commish has to stand up for his world's credibility.

The problem now is when an owner that has been asked to leave in a private world still renews, WIS is not responding to the tickets from the Commish asking to have that owner removed before he approves the world. We have that very situation in Cooperstown right now.

It will work out. There aren't many people more stubborn than me. I can wait for years for WifS to do what they're supposed to do to protect the integrity of worlds.

Why not just punish teams by having their prospects bomb more depending upon the results of their major league team. Like reverse diamonds in the rough.....not the most realistic option but it might stop some of the tanking.

I like the idea of blocking him from reupping...no sense in ruining the whole franchise.
