Thanks for the suggestions, but I'm sticking with no salary cap (it won't get that high anyways) and the 1 draft choice at a time.

Hopefully we'll get it going soon...

The point was not how high it will get but that the top teams should have at least a 10-15% salary advantage over the bottom teams. The Rangers are already at 75 million.
In light of this I will not be participating. I am letting you know as early as possible so that it might be easier for you to find a replacement. 
I am usually not capricious in dropping out, but I feel the rules as such provide too much of an advantage for the top teams.

Your nickel, sabreclub, but you were the 2nd person to sign up and you saw all of the parameters of the league... sucks to have you drop out during the selection process.

Would you have dropped out for the same reasons if you had the 1st or 2nd pick in the selection draft??

KEEP SELECTING -- if we don't have a new owner for his spot by the time his draft slot comes up, I will take an American League team as a 2nd team.

Sabre not sure what the whinning is all about this isnt a new league that you need to change rules its been around ive run it in live last year and shwarze has run it many times and it works the way it is no need to change or ***** about  the rules got to remember its a 16 team league yes some of the better teams might go early but there is an advantage going late as well to pick a team and postion yourself to get a superstar of the 14 teams not chosen so you can pick and choose what team you want no matter where u draft

I'm sure everyone has heard this by now....
A Mets fan a Redsox fan and a Yankmee fan were all standing on the brooklyn bridge arguing over who loves thier team more...
The Mets fan said " I love the Mets so much Id give my life for them!" and promptly jumps to his death screaming "Mets!!" the whole way down...
The Redsox fan looks at the Yankmee fan and says "Ill prove how much I love the Sox!" and throws the Yankmee fan off the bridge!

Cruel but true (about the Mets fan, we're all suicidal).  It wouldn't have shocked me if Josh Johnson threw another 3 innings to complete the no-no tonight.  

FYI:  I sent sabreclub a message asking him to reconsider.

I'll jump in and take either spot: dimeslot's if he doesn't show up (feel free to re-randomize that draft spot so I'm not up right away) or sabreclub's.
