If any owners, that were in last season, dropped out and then came back in shouldn't they be moved to the bottom of the draft? I mean if you had a top 5 pick before you left the league why should you be able to jump back in and keep that spot?

Because drafting near the 1st to 2nd round turnaround is actually a better draft position.

Yes, but I would rather be a top 5 or a bottom 5 pick  than stuck in the middle again.

Doesn't that seem really lame?  People would just do that over & over to get draft position.  So it only makes sense to keep draft slots from season to season.

That's my opinion, anyway.

The only way you lose your draft slot is to sit out a season.

Glen and everyone, I had wanted back in this but I'm going to be traveling most of the next three weeks with very little e-mail access.  I don't want to hold up the draft and don't think I'll be on-line nearly enough during that time to keep up with draft boards, proxies and sitemails.  I guess I've been putting off posting this news because I kept hoping timing would work out for me to stay in, but I think I need to read the writing on the wall.  Very sorry.
