I have the same problem with slow work days as well. Most times when I spring for a new team, it's because it was slow at work and I had been reading through the theme league classifieds.
thats my problem as well.  Except its because I don't go to work till 4pm and so I just sit all morning reading the classifieds.

If i'm not mistaken, i believe you can only select players up until the year 2000...see bheid's clarification on page 4 of this thread when discussing the 1885 situation

ljfry is correct. The text below if from the original ad in the classifieds...

"To start, everyone will pick a different number from 1-24. I will take the last number. Those numbers will be used to determine the draft order which will be done by a random draw. After the random draw, we will start the draft and for the 1st round everyone will nominate a different season from 1885-2000."

saw the post about 2001-2010 draft - kind of funny I finally win my 1st ever random pick at #1 (out of hundreds) and its for one player.  At least I know I'm set at 1b with Pujols likely being the player to take.

Which leads me to my question, isn't 2004 the season?  And don't we have to draft a rookie from that year?
