I choose Tim Lincecum for this week fwiw

You changed the prize.  Stop lying about that.

skonley makes a point about the selection process.  If it's a pain in the ***, it's a pain in the ***.   That will turn users away.  Your point about displaying picks before the deadline is legit.  That's why they remain hidden until the deadline passes.  Lastly, if it takes me 30 minutes a week to do something, I better enjoy it.

I never changed the prize...when I introduced the concept, there was no prize offered...a couple days later, I put up the $50 with the asterisk that we would need 25 total users for me to offer that...it was always clear, you just keep spouting mistruths.

Fair enough about the selection process, but how hard is it to send an email that says your username, your email address, and your selection?  Archaic YES, Pain in the ***, NOT EVEN CLOSE.  I understand that it's unconventional, but in all reality, it's not that different from a point and click...I'll look into it in the "offseason" but it isn't off-putting.

30 mins a week is a rather high-end total that I put out there.  I don't know about others, but it takes me 5-10 mins a week...I get up on Sunday morning, review the probables for the week and make my selection...really that simple and not at all time consuming...but if you think 0.3% of your week (30 mins out of 10080 weekly mins) is too much, then so be it.

I like skonley and appreciate his participation, but I think he's bitter that he got a goose-egg with Chris Carpenter because of my Sunday-Saturday rules, which I acknowledge the error of my ways, but with that said, that was always clearly displayed in the rules as well.  Onward and upward, it will be better next year...looking forward to AQB and GQB, as well as playing this thing out
