I'm having a heck of a time keeping track of this thing.  Seems like a lot of picks coming out of order.  But no one esle seems to be having trouble, so I guess it's just me.

We are on the clock so you have to wait until tomorrow or until everyone gets their second pick, whichever comes first.

I'm confused.  Am I up again?  My 3rd round pick would be Andrew Ference by default, I guess.

A little confusion is normal.  People do draft out of order because others can't make their time on the clock.  If the person before you has missed his pick without finding someone to proxy, that's how it goes.  I'll make an effort to monitor and update lists as much as I can, but I can't be checking all the time.  I had to shut down last night around 8 p.m.  I see that yzermans4 is absent again, and if he or slimebot don't show today before we start another round I'll pick someone for them.  pttsbrghkid will have to wait (unfortunately) to start the next round to give the stragglers a chance to get caught up.  We can't all be there all the time, the short holding periods are there for a reason.  We're off to a good start.  Get ready for the third round.  I remind owners with two teams that consecutive picks can't show up on the same final roster.  I'll keep team lists and try to keep track.

So basically, within a given round, an owner is free to pick at their given time slot regardless of what has happened in front of them.  But after 10PM, people who missed their pick have until 5:30 the following day when the next round kicks off to try and get caught up.

That's fair.

You got it.  It's not fair to people who do check in not to let them pick at their appointed time, that's why the time slot system.  But if we just kept on rolling, anybody with a life or a bad internet connection would be at a terrible disadvantage.  It's in the best interest of the league if we apply the brakes once a day to let the stragglers catch up.
