So on the Clemens listing, it's funny because there's an unbolded R (from Johnson R) right next to his name, so it appears like
R Clemens.
Looked at the R first and thought he had sneaked through, yikes!

Don't you hate it when there are two equally good players and you and other both choose one while the other is unclaimed. That's just the worst. For example, round one specsman and I both try to grab Jeff Reardon. Meanwhile the other great closer Gossage was unclaimed. If just one of us had put down the other name, we'd both have had great closers.

Though it's not much the same, this reminds me of the prisoner's dilemma scenario.

It is what is is.  We all could have had Puckett, Rice or Clemens in the first round  - all we had to do was ask

No doubt.  For my first round I had Frank Tanana listed and then changed at the last minute to Guidry.  Either way, I'd have got no one, but the switch kept Guidry out and let Tanana in.
